The E6BJA Flight Computer is a powerful software-based digital computer for practising performing aeronautical and flight calculations speedily and easily. Inspired by the Whiz-wheel (e.g. E6B, CR-1, CRP-1, CRP-5 etc), an ingenious and excellent teaching tool, and designed to replace handheld electronic digital flight computers (e.g. CX-3), the E6BJA software app is rich in features, powerful and efficient. It can be installed on a phone or tablet --- for convenience --- and has a number of advantages over the whiz-wheel; calculations are simpler and quicker to perform, with less margin of error, better reproducibility and is less error-prone. It has a clear and intuitive user interface. The E6BJA calculator currently provides the following features: E6BJA Wind, GS,TAS Visualiser and Diversions Star Holding Pattern Visualiser/Computer Wind triangle, True Air Speed, Ground Speed Visualiser Wind Triangle solver Wind Correction Angle Descent Calculator Fuel Calculator Equivalent Time Point (ETP) and Point of No Return (PNR). Practise radiotelephony the way you will actually use it. Roger5 lets you speak out loud to an AI controller and assesses every transmission on phraseology, completeness and order. That builds the rhythm and the confidence you need on the day of your RT test. WHO IT IS FOR Student pilots preparing for the RT test for PPL, LAPL or RPL — in UK or Dutch airspace. WHAT YOU PRACTISE - Scenario training — almost a hundred realistic situations, from your first radio check to an emergency call - Phonetic alphabet — speaking, typing and dictation across three levels - Readback Master — reading back ATC instructions correctly, six levels - ATIS — listening, decoding and making your initial call - Callsign recognition — responding to your own callsign among other traffic - Frequency changes — the most common error in the test - Flight Simulator — complete VFR flights, phase by phase - RT Skill Test — a simulated practical exam in seven sections - Aviation English — vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation towards ICAO Level 4 HOW IT WORKS You transmit, the AI listens and gives immediate feedback: what worked, what was missing, and how to improve. Your RT readiness and skills profile grow with what you actually practise. FOR FLIGHT SCHOOLS Roger5 supports school accounts.
