Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: UCSC Menu at 100% against Boba Bliss's 57%. UCSC Menu also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Boba Bliss's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Boba Bliss holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boba Bliss has 942 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of UCSC Menu's written reviews are positive against 57% of Boba Bliss's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
UCSC Menu ships an update fortnightly, Boba Bliss every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
