CloudMe holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SugarSync has 109 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of SugarSync's written reviews are positive against 46% of CloudMe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

SugarSync ships an update every 5 months, CloudMe every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
