I find this app (and its permutations on other various platforms and the web interface) to be cumbersome and not very intuitive. It is functional, except uploading from my iOS device seems to frequently time out for large files. I’d would not pay for storage, but as a freebie for my VPN service it serves its purpose.

Well seems the IOS app doesn't back up files right?
Maybe im not understanding the back up process? It keeps running out background processing time?
AVOID
They deleted all my data. They admitted their emails often go to spam so it’s not surprising I didn’t get the warning. This is not a reliable company I would not trust them with your data.
App crashes zero support
Are they even a company anymore or just taking our money? App does not work zero return calls or emails from support. Used to be good now I would stay far far away.
File backups
It appears that not all files and folders from computer file and iPad updates that are within others folders that are by accounts on the web app are up to date according to the sync app.

古参のクラウドストレージサービスだがアプリの作り込みが甘い。まず、転送画面がメインメニューに戻らないと見られない、フォルダ丸ごとのアップロードができない。転送画面で、ファイル容量がわからず、転送速度も残り時間やパーセントの表示もない。1ファイルで約6Mb/sの転送速度はまあまあだが同時並行転送ができないのでトータルでの転送速度が速くならない。アプリがバックグラウンドになってから戻るとそのことを認識はするのにファイル転送が中断されてしまい、再開操作ができない。アップロード先のフォルダに存在するファイルを転送しようとすると全て上書きされる。(普通は上書きするかをユーザーに質問した上で、同じファイルは転送から除外できるもんだと思う。) 転送が終わると転送リストが勝手に消去される(消去ボタンの意味かない)。サーバー自体は軽いのにアプリがいまいちで契約を続ける気になれない。惜しいサービスだ。WebDavもサポートされてない。値上げされるとメールが来たので解約申請したが請求が止まらずカスタマーサポートに依頼してようやく請求が止められた。何から何までレベルが低い。

Long time user!
I can’t even remember when I first started using Sugar Sync, but it was probably 2009 or 2010. That’s a lot of years! It’s always been a safety net-especially for those precious files I don’t want to lose. Definitely worth it, in my opinion!
I love Sugarsync
I use Sugarsync constantly to link two laptops and one desktop. It provides seamless syncing of all my work files. I can jump from one computer to another without worrying if I have the most recent version of a file (it is always there). I like the security features (two step verification) and the ability to go back to archival files. Sugarsync is an awesome service.

I have sent in 3 emails. No response. App crashing non stop. Anyone out there? Anyone care? How do i get tech support if you don't answer phones or emails. Ps. - ten year customer here.

It’s great because it can still sync between my iOS 18 device and my iOS 5 devices. Please keep the servers up for legacy devices for years to come! Thank you.
Use to work great but lots of glitches now.
I’ve used SugarSync for 10 years but the last year it has continued to crash and not sync. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall repeatedly, which takes hours and two weeks later it stops syncing again.

works great on my iPhone 11 syncing to my Windows laptop
after figuring out how to configure things and use the app properly, I found it to be very convenient. It works well and all functions work as designed.
Getting worse..
Used to be a great app, now slow sync and login issues. Paid for a year, waste of money. Can’t even contact support, says my password is wrong, it’s not! Refund please
I wish I wasn’t writing this
I’ve supported this app for many many years. 10+? But I find I’m always making excuses for it when it doesn’t work. I originally loved the flexibility of being able to assign any folder to the cloud. But, It’s not seemless. The app is constantly going offline, requiring me to manually reset it. And it hangs when I use it to grab files in Procreate. I don’t want to have to think about this tool. I just want to proceed with my work.

Was great, then good, now lousy
The entire experience has gone downhill. From zippy file syncs to slow and laggy experience.
Functional for the most part...
The issues with this app appear to not be the application itself but the extreme limitations placed upon it by IOS. It is seemingly quick and doesn't freeze for the most part. However, on the Android OS there are NO issues whatsoever. I've been using this amongst a multitude of other clouds on both platforms for years now and have never problems unless on IOS or iPad OS. It is truly wrong to be held responsible by customers for problems that have nothing to do with you.

Syncs with desktop, but not iPhone
Have had this app for 10+ years and use it primarily for desktop cloud backup. That part works and files are synced and current, although iPhone problem doesn’t give me an overall “warm and fuzzy.”
Used to be able to access and download current desktop files to older iPhone SE. Now seems “frozen in time” when trying same with 2-year old iPhone 12 Mini. Desktop files showing available to the phone are 2+ years old, not the current ones. Suggestions from tech support 1 or 2 years ago did not solve the issue. It doesn’t have to be this hard. Will likely be looking for another option one of these days.
