Verdict

The call

Network Ping Lite and OpManager both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Network Ping Lite's written reviews are positive against 35% of OpManager's. OpManager's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (129 vs 18). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

OpManager holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OpManager has 129 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Network Ping Lite's written reviews are positive against 35% of OpManager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Network Ping Lite ships an update every 12 months, OpManager every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
