chud
This app shares your daily screen time with friends once a day, fostering accountability. A visual mascot deteriorates as your usage increases, providing a unique incentive to reduce screen time. It prioritizes privacy by only sharing a daily total, not specific app usage.
- Daily screen time sharing with friends
- Visual mascot deterioration based on usage
- Privacy-focused daily total reporting
- No app-specific usage tracking
- Ad-free and tracker-free experience

chud shares your screen time with your friends. Once a day, at the same moment for everyone, your real daily total goes out to the friends you've added. You can't edit it, hide it, or wait for a better day. A mascot on your home screen falls apart across eight stages as your hours climb. chud never sees which apps you use — only a single daily total, read through Apple's Screen Time framework with your permission. iOS only reports when your usage crosses a threshold, not the exact number, so every figure is an honest lower bound rather than a confident guess. No advertising. No tracking. No analytics. Your number is shown to the friends you accepted and to nobody else. chud is for people 13 and over.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: chud at none against iCardio Workout Tracker's 4. chud also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iCardio Workout Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

chud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCardio Workout Tracker has 3.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
