Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WATCH TCM at 3.7 against Cracker Jack's 2.9. WATCH TCM also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 26). Cracker Jack's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 14%) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WATCH TCM holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WATCH TCM has 4.4K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of WATCH TCM's written reviews are positive against 40% of Cracker Jack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WATCH TCM ships an update every 2 months, Cracker Jack every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
