Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: Bookmark Links at Free against FastCalc's $1.99. Bookmark Links also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 4). FastCalc's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Bookmark Links is free to download; FastCalc costs $1.99 up front. FastCalc sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Bookmark Links sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

FastCalc holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookmark Links has 31 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of FastCalc's written reviews are positive against 82% of Bookmark Links's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

FastCalc ships an update every 5 months, Bookmark Links weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
