ECG Simulator
This application allows users to send over 200 types of ECG signal data to a connected simulator device via BLE. It helps test and verify the functionality of ECG machines by generating test signals based on uploaded data.
- Over 200 ECG signal types
- BLE device connection
- Upload ECG data
- Generate test signals
- Verify ECG machine functionality

The app provides over 200 types of ECG signal data that can be sent to the Simulator device through BLE connection. It covers the fundamental standard ECG signals as well as the complicated real ECG cases, to test and verify the ECG machines' functionalities. Steps of operation - 1. Power on the ECG Simulator device 2. Open the app and scan for the device by tapping the bluetooth icon 3. Connect to the device by tapping it once it appears on the main screen 4. When connected, open an ECG signal data 5. Tap the upload icon on the top right corner, to send the ECG data to the device 6. When it is done, the ECG Simulator device starts to interpret and compile the data, and then generate a test signal based on the data 7. Hook up an ECG machine to the simulator device, it should print out the same ECG To purchase the SIM device, please contact: cathyfeib@vhecg.com

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: ECG Simulator at Free against SimMon's $22.99. ECG Simulator also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). SimMon's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 24 months) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ECG Simulator is free to download; SimMon costs $22.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ECG Simulator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimMon has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
SimMon ships an update every 5 months, ECG Simulator every 24 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
