Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 凤凰视频HD at 4.4 against 央视新闻's 4.0. 凤凰视频HD also leads on ratings volume (752 vs 29) and review sentiment (50% vs 41%). 央视新闻's advantage is device support. On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
