Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: REcolorado App at Free against Sprite Something's $4.99. REcolorado App also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 53). Sprite Something's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

REcolorado App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REcolorado App has 1.2K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Sprite Something's written reviews are positive against 48% of REcolorado App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Sprite Something ships an update every 2 months, REcolorado App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
