Both are free to download. Starter Pack Meme Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. NFB Films asks for nothing beyond the download.
Starter Pack Meme Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Starter Pack Meme Creator has 751 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of NFB Films's written reviews are positive against 27% of Starter Pack Meme Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
