Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: MyInsider at 3.6 against Boyd Rewards's 1.5. MyInsider also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Boyd Rewards's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MyInsider holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 191 and 72 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Boyd Rewards's written reviews are positive against 0% of MyInsider's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Boyd Rewards ships an update monthly, MyInsider every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
