Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Adobe Acrobat Sign at 2.2 against Viafirma's 1.0. Adobe Acrobat Sign also leads on ratings volume (646 vs 1). Viafirma's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (25% vs 11%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Adobe Acrobat Sign holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adobe Acrobat Sign has 646 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Viafirma's written reviews are positive against 11% of Adobe Acrobat Sign's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Viafirma ships an update every 3 months, Adobe Acrobat Sign every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
