The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Eqra'a Quran Reader at none against Quran Explorer's 2. Eqra'a Quran Reader also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 12.0). Quran Explorer's advantage is ratings volume (55K vs 352) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
