Please note: This app is currently available in Japanese only. Wadokei is an app for reading the “koku” of Japan’s Edo-period temporal hour system, adjusted to your current location and the season. Because day and night are each divided into six parts, a daytime koku is longer in summer, while a nighttime koku is longer in winter. Enjoy a sense of time shaped by the sun and daily life, unlike the modern 24-hour clock, through a dial inspired by traditional Japanese perpetual clocks.
