Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: i.Hearts at 100% against Hearts HD!'s 60%. i.Hearts also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Hearts HD!'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (10K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Hearts HD! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hearts HD! has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Hearts HD!'s written reviews are positive against 100% of i.Hearts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hearts HD! ships an update every 4 months, i.Hearts every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
