About

TrafficJam

Stuck in traffic? Want to avoid traffic? You are not alone — and now you can chat anonymously with those stuck in any traffic jam reported on the app — nationwide. In or outside the jam, you can tap in and get real-time information from those in the know. See reported jams before you get to them and provide information to anyone on the app. TrafficJam is the hyper-local, real-time chat app for drivers in the same traffic jam or who need information about a jam. Join or report your jam and start chatting. When traffic clears, every message disappears automatically. PRIVACY FIRST Location is used only to find and report jams and to detect vehicle speed for the auto-silence setting — never stored, never sold. No account required — just a nickname. Messages deleted automatically when the jam clears. No ads, ever. JOIN OR CREATE YOUR JAM GPS detects jams near you, or report one in seconds. Tap to join and chat instantly with nearby drivers. Every message is tagged "in jam" or "outside" so you always know who is really stuck with you. BUILT FOR EVERYONE ON THE ROAD Commuters, road-trippers, truckers, and RVers share the same highways and sit in the same jams. A trucker ahead can tell you the scale is backed up. An RVer can warn you the detour has a low bridge. Whoever is up there sees it first. LIVE INTERACTION, NOT JUST PINS Navigation apps show you pins. TrafficJam lets you chat live with anyone on the app — drivers stuck in the jam and anyone tapped in from outside. Ask what is ahead, warn others about hazards, find out if the left lane is moving. REPORT WHAT YOU SEE Accident? Signal outage? Road work? Fog? Report a jam in seconds with cause tags, severity rating, lane details, and road condition notes. LIVE JAM INTELLIGENCE Elapsed time, live people count, severity, lane updates, and community wait times — all in real time from people in the jam. SCOUT YOUR ROUTE BEFORE YOU DRIVE Check any reported jam along your route before you leave. Tap in from outside, read the chat, see the severity and wait times, and decide whether to reroute before you reach the slowdown. You do not have to be stuck to stay informed. WHEN IT MATTERS MOST Holiday getaway weekends. Hurricane and flood evacuations. Ice, fog, and winter storms. Construction season. These are the times official feeds lag furthest behind the road, and the times drivers stopped in it know the most. Read what is reported ahead of you; report what you see for everyone behind you. NEARBY OR NATIONWIDE List View shows what is happening around you right now. Map View auto-fits to every jam reported on TrafficJam nationwide — tap into any of them, any highway, any city, any time. COMMUNITY VOTING Drivers vote when traffic starts moving. The vote count is shown live on a progress bar. 33% of drivers must agree before it clears. ALTERNATE ROUTES Suggest alternate routes and vote on the best detours — local knowledge from people who drive these roads every day. DIRECT REPLIES & REACTIONS Tap a message to reply directly. Long tap to react with an emoji. HANDS-FREE FOR DRIVER SAFETY Optional voice input lets you speak messages without touching the screen. Optional read-aloud speaks new messages to you while you drive. An auto-silence setting pauses read-aloud above 15mph. Driving mode simplifies the interface automatically. SOS EMERGENCY BUTTON One tap shares your exact GPS location with the jam and flags an emergency, alongside a direct 911 button. In an emergency, always dial emergency services directly from your phone's own dialer. MODERATION & SAFETY Community guidelines enforced. Report inappropriate messages. Block users who misbehave — they never know, and your block list follows you into every jam. 5 COLOR THEMES Default Teal, Night Rider, Sunset Drive, Deep Ocean, Rose Gold. SUBSCRIPTION $5.99 per year after a 7-day free trial. Cancel anytime. TrafficJam: Chat in the Crawl
