Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MyOffice at none against Weekly Planner's 11. MyOffice also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.0). Weekly Planner's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 1) and review sentiment (70% vs 52%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weekly Planner sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. MyOffice asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

MyOffice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weekly Planner has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of MyOffice's written reviews are positive against 70% of Weekly Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

MyOffice ships an update every 5 weeks, Weekly Planner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
