Do you live in Loudoun County, VA? Do your kids play sports? Does scrolling eternally through the list of fields on the county's website to find out if the infield at Byrne's 2 is under water annoy you? Me too, so I made Field Status. It's the same data the county provides, but with an easier to use interface. Features: - Search the county's 440+ fields to find the one you're looking for. - Mark any field you practice or play on as a favorite. - Easily get directions to any field via your preferred map app. - See current weather conditions and temperature at any field. - Fields are categorized by the sport they're used for. - Photos of fields in the detail view. Verdict
Washington Commanders and Field Status both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Field Status's written reviews are positive against 56% of Washington Commanders's. Field Status also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Washington Commanders's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (6K vs 36). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Washington Commanders against 4.8 for Field Status.
