Buttons and Scissors is a fun way to improve your logical thinking and train your brain. Tutorial: When you begin playing the game for the first time, there will be a tutorial level. You will be presented with a scrap of denim and a number of different colored buttons. Each current move will be displayed as a white arrow. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Buttons and Scissors at 4.6 against Fun Bubbles Lite's 3.2. Buttons and Scissors also leads on ratings volume (1.7K vs 6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Fun Bubbles Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Buttons and Scissors sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Fun Bubbles Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.
Buttons and Scissors holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Buttons and Scissors has 1.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Fun Bubbles Lite's written reviews are positive against 82% of Buttons and Scissors's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Fun Bubbles Lite ships an update every 3 months, Buttons and Scissors every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
