Why did we create another timer app when there are already dozens in the App Store? Because “Timer Z is the Last Timer You’ll Ever Need”! It's simple to use yet full featured. For example, you can easily set a timer to give a 15 seconds warning before another alarming at 1 minute mark. Some unique features of Timer Z are: - A simple count down timer can be set and started with just 3 taps - Multiple timers can be set and can run simultaneously - The timer will fire even if the Timer Z app is running in the background - Each timer can be named and set to expire after a time interval, or at a specific point in time like an alarm - While a timer is running, it can show remaining time or elapsed time since start, either in full hour/min/sec or just seconds - Background graphics shows the percent of time remaining - A running timer can be paused and resumed to continue where it left off - When a timer expires, there is a choice of alarm sounds, vibration, or no sound at all - Optionally the alarm can continue to sound until acknowledged - Upon expiration, a timer can start another timer, including itself in a loop - Timer activity history is saved and can be emailed, great for record keeping - Timer data can be saved and loaded from a linked Dropbox account Whether you’re looking for a simple timer, or one with all the bells-and-whistles, Timer Z is the best choice! NOTE: this version is limited to 2 timers. Use the convenient in-app purchase of Pro feature to add an unlimited number of timers, and eliminate all advertisements. While in a queue (or line) have you asked yourself any of the following questions: Will I make it through security in time? Will I get my movie tickets before the show starts? How long until I can place my order? What is that smell? If so, this app may be for you. We find ourselves in queues (or lines) far more often than we'd like and, as a rule, they move more slowly than we'd hope. In fact, the phrase "this line is moving so fast" isn't found in any major language or travel guide. Have you found yourself, like me, counting the number of people in front of you? Trying to judge the speed of the person behind the desk? Trying to juggle these figures in your head while being bumped and prodded to keep your place? Queue Alert can help, doing the math for you and giving you live estimates that you can use. Once a rate is established, you can predict your wait time or predict how many people or items will get through the queue by a given time. Or, you can enter the amount of time you have to wait to see how far the queue will progress. All of this is easily at your fingertips. Isn't it time you got more out of line? Other uses: Queue Alert isn't just for waiting in lines! This app could be used to help predict the movement of anything through a queuing system of any sort. Really, it's just math. Tap the "number in queue" flipper to cycle through a number of possible options and fully customize your experience. Limitations: Obviously, the estimations made by the app (and subsequent alerts) may not reflect what you actually observe, for a variety of reasons. Queues may speed up or slow down as new registers open or close, for example. These are just estimates and hold no special sway over future events. Queue carefully.
