**Strengthen your internal sense of rhythm.** Time Guru is the only metronome that periodically goes silent—randomly, in patterns, or both—so you discover whether you rush, drag, or lose your place. **Random & Pattern Muting** Set any percentage of random muting to test your timekeeping. Or create sequenced muting patterns. Or combine both. You'll quickly learn where your time falls apart—and strengthen it. **Complex Meter Sequences** Build unlimited chains of shifting meters: 4/4 -> 7/8 -> 3/4 -> 11/16 -> 4/4 -> 3/8. Meters go up to 16/x, patterns have no length limit, and you can rearrange them with drag-and-drop. **Gradual Tempo Changes** Automatically speed up or slow down over time—perfect for building technique. **Practice Timer** Set the metronome to stop after a specified duration. **Also includes:** • 35 loud, clear sound sets • Drum machine-style rhythmic patterns • Voice counting in English, Chinese, French, German & Russian • Tap tempo (5–300 BPM) • iCloud backup and sync • Light and dark themes • Full VoiceOver accessibility • Rock-solid timing via custom audio engine Developed by Avi Bortnick and Adam Bellard

About

Partner

Practise like you’ve got a plan, because now you have. Partner builds today’s practice from the sessions you’ve actually played. Each section starts at the tempo you last reached, with your own notes from last time right there. Play it, log it in seconds, and tomorrow’s plan follows on. It’s made by Harry, a drum teacher, so your practice stops being scattered across notes, timers and spreadsheets. – PLAN IT – Today’s plan is ready when you open the app, built from your own log. Add, reorder or remove sections in a tap. Short on time? Choose which sections to play, or fit the plan into 15, 20 or 30 minutes, or any time you like. Put up to three exercises inside a section and tick them off as you get them. – PLAY IT – A timer for each section, with what you said about it last time underneath. Nothing to fill in before you start. – LOG IT – The tempo you reached, how it felt (Solid, Working on it, At my limit, or just an off day) and a note, typed or spoken. A few seconds, then on to the next section. Nailed something? Mark it, and it moves out of tomorrow’s plan. – SEE THE CLIMB – Journey keeps every session in your own words: days practised, total hours, and a graph for each section that keeps your best even after a dip. Set a goal tempo for up to three sections and watch the gap close. – ONLY REAL NUMBERS – Every tempo in your log is one you played. Partner never invents a number, never scores you and never nags you about a missed day. – GOT AN ELECTRONIC KIT? – Connect it with a USB-B to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adaptor, and see which drum you hit and how hard, under the timer as you play. ALSO • No account needed to start; back up with Apple or Google whenever you like • Works offline, in the basement or the practice room • Practice reminders on the days and at the time you choose • Light and dark mode, on iPhone and iPad RILEY (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION) Riley is Partner’s practice partner, an AI that works only from your own log. With Riley, tomorrow’s plan moves a tempo on when a section felt Solid or Working on it, holds it after a hard session, and never goes past your goal. A section you keep stopping early gets less time, and that time moves to the others. After each session she reflects on what you did in plain words, and you can ask her about a section you’ve been working on and decide what’s next. She suggests, you decide. Ask Riley is for drummers 18 and over. Riley starts with a free week, then £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year, renewing until you cancel. Payment is taken from your Apple ID; cancel any time in your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Prices may vary by region. Partner works fully without Riley.
