Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: RandALL at 4.8 against Ask for Invoke App's 2.0. RandALL also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 14 months) and ratings volume (72 vs 5). Ask for Invoke App's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RandALL sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Ask for Invoke App sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

RandALL holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RandALL has 72 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of RandALL's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ask for Invoke App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

RandALL ships an update weekly, Ask for Invoke App every 14 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
