The Karnaugh map is a method to simplify Boolean algebra expressions. In a Karnaugh map the boolean variables are transferred (generally from a truth table) and ordered according to the principles of Gray code in which only one variable changes in between adjacent squares. Once the table is generated and the output possibilities are transcribed, the data is arranged into the largest possible groups containing 2n cells (n=0,1,2,3...) and the minterm is generated through the axiom laws of boolean algebra. We have designed this application primarily to support students studying electronic engineering, although it is useful in other disciplines including computer science and mathematics. Features: - Minimize logic function entered as text, Karnaugh map or truth table - Up to 8 variables - Contains History option - Supports the Don't care condition - Shows representation of each minimized component in the Karnaugh Map

VoltSim is a realtime electronic circuit simulator like Multisim, SPICE, LTspice, Altium or Proto for circuit design with a better user experience. VoltSim is a complete circuit app in which you can design circuits with various components and simulate an electric or digital circuit. During simulation you can check voltage, current and many other variables. Check signals on multichannel oscilloscope or multimeter and tune your circuit in real time! You can also use VoltSim as logic circuit simulator and perform digital electronic analysis! This app will help you visualize how the voltage varies across the circuit and how current flows through it. T&C: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Both are free to download. Circuit Simulator sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Karnaugh Map Advanced asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Karnaugh Map Advanced against 4.7 for Circuit Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Circuit Simulator has 87 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 69% of Karnaugh Map Advanced's written reviews are positive against 77% of Circuit Simulator's.
Karnaugh Map Advanced ships an update every 9 months, Circuit Simulator every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
