The live tracker of Iceland's fin-whale season — and the case, by the numbers. SEASON — the running count against the 150-whale quota, one mark per whale, and a verified log of every event: kills, welfare findings, politics, the feud on the water. Every entry links to its sources. THE CASE — the distilled investigation: who owns the hunt, what it earns and loses, how long the whales take to die (government inspection data), what Icelanders think, and the claims we checked and rejected — including some that would have helped the argument. WIDGET — the season count on your home screen. Independent data journalism. Every figure carries its source. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.
