Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: CropX at Free against AGRIplot's $0.99. CropX also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). AGRIplot's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 0%) and ratings volume (34 vs 6). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

CropX holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AGRIplot has 34 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of AGRIplot's written reviews are positive against 0% of CropX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

AGRIplot ships an update every 2 months, CropX every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
