“Fin” for finance, “Tabi” from the Japanese word for journey. FinTabi is built for your financial journey. PRIVATE by design. Your data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud only. No ads, no tracking, no account creation. If you’ve been looking for a finance app that respects your privacy and your wallet, this is it. KNOW IF YOU’RE ON TRACK TO RETIRE • 10,000 simulations with varying returns and inflation show how often your savings outlast you • Factors in Social Security, pensions, part-time work, taxes and your mortgage • See the range of what you’d have left at the end, in today’s dollars • Find out how exposed you are to retiring into a down market, and what softens a bad start • Below 80%? See how much later to retire, how much less to spend, or how much more to save PLAN THE NEXT TEN YEARS • The Roadmap compares three scenarios side by side: where you are, your near-term goal and your stretch goal • Estimated taxes, a monthly budget and a 10-year savings projection for each • The Vision Board keeps your goals and intentions in sight, and celebrates them when you get there YOUR WHOLE PICTURE • Net worth broken down into cash, investments, property, loans and credit cards, with changes tracked over time • Spending vs Budget flags the categories that need a look and the ones going well • Money Flow traces each month’s income to where it ended up, down to the tags you use • Insights with starter and custom reports, and search any merchant or keyword across all accounts to see the total BUDGETS GROUNDED IN REALITY • See your actual spending and monthly averages before you set a budget • Categories grouped into Fixed, Essentials and Extras, so you know what’s realistic to cut • Monthly or annual budgets per category, with progress that keeps you honest TRANSACTIONS WITHOUT THE BUSYWORK • Import bank and credit card statements as OFX, QFX, QBO, CSV or PDF, read on your device and never uploaded anywhere • Balance validation confirms every transaction was captured • Categorization learns your merchants and transactions with every import to automatically classify your spending • Tags, search, filters, bulk edits and duplicate detection INVESTMENTS AT A GLANCE • Stocks, ETFs, options, bonds, CDs, crypto and cash across brokerage and retirement accounts • Tax lots that follow your broker’s cost basis method, and gains this year including dividends and interest • Import dividends and interest from your broker’s CSV and see totals by symbol • Prices refresh automatically (15-minute delayed quotes) YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL • No account to create and no sign-in: only you can see your financial data • Statement reading and categorization run on your device; nothing is sent anywhere for processing • Market quotes are fetched by ticker symbol only; nothing about your holdings is sent • iCloud sync uses Apple’s private database, encrypted and accessible only to you • Delete the app and your data stays in your iCloud WHY NO BANK SYNC? Your privacy. Connecting your bank means giving a third-party data aggregator your login, or standing access to every transaction you make. FinTabi never does that, so your bank credentials and your transaction history are never shared with anyone. Importing a statement takes a few extra taps, but this means your data stays yours. It also keeps FinTabi affordable. FinTabi is built by a single person, and aggregators charge a fee for every connected account that alone would exceed the $0.99/month subscription. SUBSCRIPTION FinTabi is free for your first 30 days: every feature, no payment details required. After that, continuing requires an auto-renewing subscription of $0.99 per month, purchased in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and renews automatically at $0.99/month until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
