Both are free to download. ARPlanets 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. A Solar System Journey asks for nothing beyond the download.
A Solar System Journey holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: A Solar System Journey has 434 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of A Solar System Journey's written reviews are positive against 57% of ARPlanets 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
