Both are free to download. Intergalactic Solar System sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. A Solar System Journey asks for nothing beyond the download.
A Solar System Journey holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: A Solar System Journey has 434 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of A Solar System Journey's written reviews are positive against 70% of Intergalactic Solar System's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
A Solar System Journey ships an update every 6 months, Intergalactic Solar System monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
