Naming Therapy costs $29.99 and F $149.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Naming Therapy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Naming Therapy has 382 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Naming Therapy's written reviews are positive against 86% of F's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Naming Therapy ships an update every 7 months, F every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
