fuelTool is a fuel uplift and (limiting) weight calculator and can be used in general by any one in aviation to calculate limiting mass very easily. If you or your company supplies information about the DOW, DOI and limiting masses, then your aircrafts can be downloaded into the app, which makes the calculating even faster, because all the relevant figures are already in place! Features: - Calculate refueling from LBS->LTR or KG->LTR, and split Left & Right Tanks - Calculate with fuel density figures (after re-feuling) - Weight calculation (determine limiting mass, allowable fuel or payload) - Crosswind calculation, with actual METAR info (if you have an internet connection) - Maintain list of aircrafts (add/edit/delete) - Download your company's aircraft data (if made available to me)

fuelTool is free to download; Mil Fuel Check costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
fuelTool holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mil Fuel Check has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of fuelTool's written reviews are positive against 64% of Mil Fuel Check's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
fuelTool ships an update every 3 months, Mil Fuel Check every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
