Sundbåten
Read full descriptionHide full description
Sundbåten has carried people between the islands of Kristiansund since 1876. It's free to ride. The app shows when the next boat leaves and where the boat is now. Next departure The app picks the quay nearest you and counts down to the next departure. Switch between Kirklandet, Innlandet, Nordlandet and Gomalandet. The boats on the map Angvik and Framnæs are shown on the nautical chart, positioned by AIS. When the boat is on its way to your quay, you see roughly when it arrives, and whether it's behind schedule. That is our own estimate, not a message from Sundbåten. Cruise ships in port When a cruise ship is in town, it's shown on the front page. The boat may be full. Tap the ship for its operator, size and passenger count. About the boat Tap the boat to see where it's heading and when it arrives, facts about the boat and the phone number on board. The coming days See the timetable for the next few days, and share a day with someone. Service alerts With notifications on, changes to the service reach your phone. The app is in Norwegian, English, German, Spanish, Italian and French. Offline, it shows the last timetable it fetched. Made by ON IT AS, recommended by Kristiansund Kommunale Sundbåtvesen. Timetables from Entur, positions from the Norwegian Coastal Administration/BarentsWatch, maps from Kartverket.
