Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: BilinGO at 83% against 央视新闻's 41%. BilinGO also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). 央视新闻's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (29 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
央视新闻 holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 央视新闻 has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of 央视新闻's written reviews are positive against 83% of BilinGO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
央视新闻 ships an update every 2 months, BilinGO every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
