Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: iRadTech HD at 50% against CT Anatomy's 0%. iRadTech HD also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.5). CT Anatomy's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (126 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. iRadTech HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CT Anatomy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CT Anatomy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CT Anatomy has 126 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of iRadTech HD's written reviews are positive against 0% of CT Anatomy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iRadTech HD ships an update every 19 months, CT Anatomy every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
