Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Circuit Living at none against Paperless Post's 10. Paperless Post's advantage is ratings volume (127K vs 1) and chart position (#150 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Paperless Post sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Circuit Living asks for nothing beyond the download.
Circuit Living holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paperless Post has 127K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
