Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Beanstack Tracker at 4.8 against DSM Public Art's 3.7. Beanstack Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (103K vs 3). DSM Public Art's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Beanstack Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beanstack Tracker has 103K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DSM Public Art's written reviews are positive against 67% of Beanstack Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
DSM Public Art ships an update every 26 months, Beanstack Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
