dark mode pls

4.8 stars. Please add dark mode. I always read at night and it literally melts my eyes off every time I open Beanstack. Every other app has dark mode but not this one. nice app tho

Amazing

I’m eleven years old and love reading I love this app because I can track my reading and earn things from it i recommend this app to anyone who loves reading

IT IS SOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOD

IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

Awesome!!!

I love this app. I do a summer reading challenge every year and this is really helpful! One suggestion: maybe you should verify that you went to the locations. I accidentally checked one off and it didn’t verify if I went there. You don’t have to track us, just ask a basic question like what you did there to make sure that you’re not faking it. Thank you so much for making this app and I love it!!!

The only reading app I use consistently

I love that you can log time instead of pages. I do a lot of audiobooks so it’s perfect for that. But I also read a lot of written non-fiction and like to go back and re-read things and areas I’ve highlighted as I’m going through the book and timed logging makes me feel like that “counts.”

The only thing preventing a 5 star review is the recent addition of the “You did it!” pop up after reading. I find it incredibly annoying. Please add a button to let users turn that off!

Right now I’m currently reading a book called “Witches 🧙🏻‍♀️ of Brooklyn s’mores magic 🪄 “it’s because I checked them out at my library. And I have some other books I checked out called
“Band Nerd 🪈,Go with the flow,Witch boy and Lunar Boy” .I totally enjoy Reading them all it’s because I really really like reading 📖 Graphic novels since it has pictures in them. And I totally recommend reading these books to whoever is interested.

Absolutely necessary

Very great for motivating your child and free!

Used to be great

I like that you can use an in app timer to record your points and scanner to scan the barcode of your books but they stopped giving away actual prizes for adults and I don’t feel the app is worth it anymore. They give you stickers but what adult wants to drive all the way down to the library for a sticker? Nobody. I really wish they would bring prizes back with the raffle. It was a lot of fun and made me want read more.

Why I love Beanstack tracker

It really helps me for reading books because when I go to the library I get prizes for it. My goal is to get 360 minutes red so I will it really helps me to read and I’m knowing I have a challenge with it. this is why I love Beanstack tracker

Search function is hit-and-miss

Some books don't show up even by ISBN, and then other books that don't show up by author ot title do show up by ISBN.

My Review of the Bean Stack Tracker app

I Really like this app it’s because. I like how you Can track on how many pages you’ve read each day.And I really recommend downloading this app called “Libby” to anyone who has not used it .On the app you can listen to Audiobooks/etc.And I’m rating this app 4 stars ⭐️ .

Glitchy

It’s good but pretty glitchy

You did it screen annoying

Latest update that turned on the “you did it” screen after logging a book is not helpful or needed. Adds another interaction to the app before I can go on to the next item to log. We have young children and log consecutive booked after reading all of them at night. Can this be turned off

Amazing app

I love this app, so first you can log your reading and save your pages that way you don’t forget your page number. And you can scan the book so that it knows what book you are reading. And I love this app because now I do not have to forget my page number or the time that I read.

App crashes upon opening 😕

I like using this app to track my reading, but I haven’t been able to keep it open on mobile for more than a second before it crashes. I even updated the app and restarted my phone, but it still happens. Same thing happens every time over the past few days.
I hope they can fix it soon. I’ll move this up to 5 stars once they do because they deserve it!

So Laborious

The user interface on this app is terrible. To log a book I have to click:

+ > reading > select reader > choose reader > select title (titles hardly ever come up via the search feature so I usually use isbn, so I have to scan the book) > uncheck “track progress” > save > and then I can choose quick complete BUT if I’m logging reading from the night before then I have to go on to > log reading > tap calendar > change date > save > check “book finished” > done

This is insane!

I have two kids and we read a lot. Sometimes together, sometimes separately. Logging a single book should not be this cumbersome. There should be a way to log within a users profile without having to “select user” every time, to multi add several books all at once, and to add one book to multiple users at once.

Update 7/20: I can’t believe it they added ANOTHER THING TO CLICK. Now when I log a book it “congratulates” me and I have to click “done.” At this point I’m encouraged to read to my kids even more so we can hit the 1000 books before kindergarten faster and I can be done with this horrible app.

Lots of options

There are lots of options and a little challenging for the over 60, but with a little help from a young friend, I was able to understand the sequence of all of the options and log my grandchildren’s, summer reading.. Thank you.

I love this app!!!

Ive had this app for a long time but I never really used it until this year (2026) and I’ve already read over 50 books in the last few months!!

Beanstack

It’s okay but I just don’t know how to use it
