Wonderfully Awesome
This not only helps motivate my children to read but it helps stay on track. They contribute their efforts and time to reading to be rewarded with not only a pizza but taking time away from a screen to relax the brain from other outside distractions.
Nostalgic.
I did these when I was a kid in school in the 90’s, my family didn’t have $$ for extras and eating out was one of them. The excitement I felt to earn one of these stretched far beyond a pizza. Thank you for bringing this back, now my 4 year old and I read together and she’s earned her first one!
I miss the old Book It
I miss the old Book It program, but I suppose everything has to evolve with the times. It’s easy to track your reading, it’s easy to see your progress and it’s easy to redeem. Just look out, though, those redemption codes expire quick!
Book It Blast from the Past!
This program was something my husband and I both participated in as kids in the 80’s. It’s been amazing to introduce it to our kids and find them reading so much more just for the idea that Pizza Hut cares enough to reward them with free pizza. Thank you for making summer reading fun again and dangling a very appealing carrot in the form of pizza that my boys love!
