ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Drumgenius holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drumgenius has 232 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Drumgenius's written reviews are positive against 100% of CleverJazz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
