NASA's Earth Now is an application that visualizes recent global climate data from Earth Science satellites, including surface air temperature, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, and water vapor as well as gravity and sea level variations. Data sets are visually described using "false color" maps. Color-coded legends are provided to indicate relative strength or weakness of an environmental condition. The resulting 3D model of the Earth may be rotated by a single finger stroke, and may also be zoomed in or out by pinching 2 fingers. It was developed by the Earth Science Communications and Visualization Technology Applications and Development Teams at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, with support from NASA Headquarters.

About

AsteroTrack

Features

AsteroTrack lets you explore near-Earth asteroids using data provided by the NASA NEO API. Check upcoming approaches, discover the most relevant objects of the week, and better understand each asteroid through clear visualizations of distance, size, speed, and risk level. Key features: • Summary of near-Earth asteroids for today and the coming days. • Official NASA data including distance, diameter, speed, magnitude, and approach date. • Visual approach diagram relative to Earth and the Moon. • Size comparison with familiar real-world references. • Advanced filters by hazard status, distance, size, and speed. • Search by date, name, ID, and custom date ranges. • Favorites with personal notes. • Official NASA/JPL links when available. • Configurable alerts for relevant approaches. • Unit options and language selection between system, Spanish, and English. • Recent data caching for previously loaded information. AsteroTrack is designed for curious users, students, astronomy enthusiasts, and anyone who wants an easy way to follow near-Earth objects. Data is retrieved from public NASA/JPL sources. Risk classifications are informational and do not replace official communications from space agencies.
