Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bubbl at 85% against RoomSync's 18%. RoomSync's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 102). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
RoomSync holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoomSync has 5.1K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of RoomSync's written reviews are positive against 85% of Bubbl's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
