Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Daikin Tech Hub at 4.6 against TMS Flat Rate Reader's 4.0. Daikin Tech Hub also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 3). TMS Flat Rate Reader's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 27%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Daikin Tech Hub holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daikin Tech Hub has 3.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of TMS Flat Rate Reader's written reviews are positive against 27% of Daikin Tech Hub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

TMS Flat Rate Reader ships an update every 3 months, Daikin Tech Hub every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
