Thanks for using the application! ==================================== Basic is a family of general-purpose, high-level programming languages whose design philosophy emphasizes ease of use - the name is an acronym from Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. The original Dartmouth Basic was designed in 1964 by John George Kemeny and Thomas Eugene Kurtz at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA to provide computer access to non-science students. At the time, nearly all use of computers required writing custom software, which was something only scientists and mathematicians tended to do. The language and its variants became widespread on microcomputers in the late 1970s and 1980s, when it was typically a standard feature, and often actually built into the firmware of the machine. Basic remains popular to this day in a handful of highly modified dialects and new languages influenced by Basic such as Microsoft Visual Basic. In 2006, 59% of developers for the .Net Framework used Visual Basic .Net as their only programming language. Before the mid-1960s, computers were extremely expensive and used only for special-purpose tasks. A simple batch processing arrangement ran only a single "job" at a time, one after another. But during the 1960s faster and more affordable computers became available. and as prices decreased newer computer systems supported time-sharing, a system which allows multiple users or processes to use the CPU and memory. In such a system the operating system alternates between running processes, giving each one running time on the CPU before switching to another. The machines had become fast enough that most users could feel they had the machine all to themselves. By this point the problem of interacting with the computer was a concern. In the batch processing model, users never interacted with the machine directly, instead they tended their jobs to the computer operators. Under the time-sharing model the users were given individual computer terminals and interacted directly. The need for system to simplify this experience, from command line interpreters to programming languages was an area of intense research during the 1960s and 70s.

The lights flicker. Your phone hums in your hand. Somewhere in the static, a voice is trying to come through. Are you listening? Ghost Hunting Tools is a full paranormal investigation kit running on your phone. Spirit box, EVP visualizer, ghost detector, and EMF meter, all in one app. Built for first-time ghost hunters and veteran investigators alike. Free to use, with a Pro upgrade when you are ready to dig deeper. What's inside Spirit Box and Ghost Talker Open a session and the app scans for ghostly signals, pulling words from a curated dictionary in real time. Read them on screen, find every one again in your Word History, and watch as patterns start to form. The kind of one-word-at-a-time communication serious investigators look for, without the radio hiss. EVP Visualizer Watch the background static the app generates on its own (it never uses your microphone). When a signal is strong enough to become a word, darker bars rise: that is the EVP behind it. Some words you will write off as coincidence. Others will sit with you longer than you expected. EMF Detector A working EMF meter pulled straight from your phone's sensors. Watch the readings spike when something steps into the field. Cross-reference with the spirit box and you have two channels lining up at once. Sensor Dashboard EMF, pressure, vibration. Your phone has more paranormal-detection capability than most people realize, and the dashboard reads them side by side. The EMF Alarm sounds when the field rises or drops past your trigger level. Easy-to-follow graphs let you spot the moment everything goes quiet, right before it doesn't. The Word Bank A large dictionary of words the app surfaces during scans. No filler, no random noise for the sake of it. Just the vocabulary that paranormal investigators have reported reaching for them again and again. Pro unlocks a much bigger bank and lets you add your own words. Pro Version Remove ads, unlock the expanded dictionary, and add custom words of your own: names of the deceased, places of interest, anything you suspect might be listening. Pro purchases also fund continued development of the app, so the hunt keeps getting better because of the people who go pro. Why people keep this app on their home screen You do not have to believe in ghosts to enjoy Ghost Hunting Tools. You just have to be curious about what happens in the quiet moments. Open the app at a bonfire, in a basement, in an empty hotel room. Bring a friend. Tell us what you find. Ghost hunt safely Trust your instincts. Don't go alone to places you don't know. If something feels wrong, close the app and walk away. Tools are tools, and your judgment is what keeps you safe. A note on entertainment Ghost Hunting Tools is built for fun and curiosity. We can't promise you will talk to a real ghost. We can promise you will have a story.
