Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Apex Gymnastics at 100% against MiLB's 36%. Apex Gymnastics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). MiLB's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (41K vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. MiLB sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Apex Gymnastics asks for nothing beyond the download.
MiLB holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MiLB has 41K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of MiLB's written reviews are positive against 100% of Apex Gymnastics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MiLB ships an update fortnightly, Apex Gymnastics every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
