ScanProfile helps you understand what is in your food before you buy it. Scan a barcode, point the camera at an ingredient label, or paste a list manually. ScanProfile checks the ingredient list against your personal rules and flags ingredients you want to avoid. SCAN THREE WAYS - Barcode scanner: looks up products from Open Food Facts and checks the ingredient list. - Camera scan: reads printed ingredient labels using on-device OCR. - Manual entry: paste or type an ingredient list for immediate checking. MULTILINGUAL LABEL SCANNING The camera scan reads ingredient labels in Norwegian, English, Swedish, Danish, German, and Thai. Scan a label in any of these languages and ScanProfile checks it against your rules. The app interface is available in English and Norwegian. PERSONAL FOOD RULES Create profiles with different rules for yourself or family members. Choose built-in rule packages such as added sugar, sweeteners, gluten, lactose, and ultra-processed ingredient markers. You can also add your own personal avoid-list. NUTRITION AT A GLANCE Barcode scans and scanned nutrition labels can show a compact nutrition summary, including sugar, salt, protein, energy, and net carbs per 100 g where available. PRIVATE BY DESIGN ScanProfile has no account, no tracking, no ads, and no general scan history. Ingredient camera scans are processed on your device. Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts and send only the barcode number. ScanProfile PRO ScanProfile Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks more personalization, including more profiles, unlimited personal avoid-list entries, custom rule packages, import/export, and optional AI-assisted rule package creation. ScanProfile is not a medical or allergy safety tool. It helps you review ingredient labels based on your own selected rules, and shows warnings when product data or OCR text may be incomplete.
