Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SD5 App at 3.2 against 大麦's 2.3. SD5 App also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). 大麦's advantage is ratings volume (435 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

大麦 ships an update every 2 weeks, SD5 App monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
