Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cargo at 84% against Osmo Coding Awbie's 37%. Cargo also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). Osmo Coding Awbie's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 30 months) and rating (3.9 vs 3.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Osmo Coding Awbie holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Osmo Coding Awbie has 450 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Cargo's written reviews are positive against 37% of Osmo Coding Awbie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cargo ships an update every 30 months, Osmo Coding Awbie every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
