eDrawings® is the only CAD viewer on iPad, iPad mini, iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to view native eDrawings files as well as native SolidWorks® parts, assemblies and drawings files. In addition, eDrawings allows convenient viewing of DWG and DXF files. eDrawings includes Augmented Reality (AR). This allows you to view your 3D models in 1:1 scale into the real world. By simply activating the device’s camera, you can bring your virtual 3D designs in a real context and see them in situ, sitting on your desk or on your conference room table or even in the palm of your hand, through your iPad, Pad mini, iPhone or iPod Touch’s screen. Move around the room and see your design from any perspective. eDrawings is the email-enabled communication tool that dramatically eases sharing of product design information. You can load and send files via email to collaborate more effectively with everyone involved in product development, including people who are not regular CAD software users to interpret and understand 2D and 3D designs. Multi-touch gestures let you pan, zoom, and rotate models easily. eDrawings also supports configurations, drawing sheets, and exploded views for eDrawings files published from SolidWorks® and all other supported CAD software. About

KUKA MixedReality Assistant

Fast robot commissioning with the help of Augmented Reality (AR): It connects the real with the virtual world, thus enriching the environment of the robot cell with digital information in a clear and uncomplicated manner. This not only accelerates installation, but also makes working with the robot safer, as errors can be detected and corrected quickly. With the software, a created safety configuration can be examined and verified at a glance. All relevant data is graphically displayed in real-time directly on the robot: Monitoring spaces, safety-oriented tools and the cell area. The display of the corresponding configuration parameters of the spaces or tools is also possible. In addition, movements can be simulated with a virtual robot and tool. This allows potential collisions to be detected without having to move the physical robot. Furthermore, with the integrated demo mode the functions can be tried out without an actual robot. The app is easy to set up and operate: After installation on the iPhone or iPad, all relevant robot data is sent directly from the controller to the mobile device via WLAN through a router or access point (not a KUKA product) and displayed visually. The KUKA.MixedReality Safe technology package is used for this purpose, which needs to be installed on the robot controller. In addition, the KUKA.SafeOperation technology package must be installed to use the safety functions.
