PCA Engineers brings preliminary design of turbo compressor impellers to your fingertips. VistaCCD gives users the key dimensions and achievable efficiency for any turbo compressor stage operating with perfect gas. Taking as constraints the target design point performance and gas inlet conditions, VistaCCD performs a meanline design calculation using well-validated empirical relationships for work factor and achievable efficiency, corrected for Reynolds number and tip clearance effects. The user can vary input parameters to optimise performance within specific dimensional constraints, guided by the visual feedback from the efficiency correlation and the 2D sketch of the impeller. This app will certainly be of interest to engineers involved in developing new compressor designs. Equally it will be relevant to those applying turbo compressors to turbochargers, industrial compressors and small gas turbines, giving users a better appreciation of the impact of design constraints.

Data logger for collecting and analyzing run data for autocross. Map the course, record your runs, then analyze your performance! The app is designed to be quick to use to quickly analyze data between runs and find time during the event. * Map the course, including the cones! * Record your runs with video (GoPro or internal camera), GPS, ODB2, and accelerometer data * Analyze your runs with GPS traces, video, speed vs distance plots, and g-force plots * Automatically start and stop recording for hands free data logging * Export your data (csv, json, and VBO) * Import runs from others * iCloud data sync The data collection is based on GPS/GNSS data and is compatible with various devices. Some of which connect directly to the app for the highest quality data collection. The solutions which provide the best quality (25hz or 10hz) data are: * RaceBox Mini * RaceBox Mini S * RaceBox Micro * Dragy Pro * Dragy Lite * XGPS160 * Opensource DIY GPS modules (build for under $50!) https://github.com/FlorianMuellerklein/OpensourceGPSDevice4AutoXDatalogger Alternatively, the app is compatible with any GPS device which pairs to the iOS settings. Video recording * GoPro 5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13 * Internal iPhone Camera Vehicle Data * BLE ELM327 readers * Veepeak ODBCheck Plus is the most tested and recommended device * Custom sensors that broadcast byte packets on a BLE characteristics. Make whatever you want and broadcast it in a compatible way. Additionally, when using the internal iPhone GPS the app contains an optional sensor fusion algorithm to interpolate between the 1hz GPS updates that the internal sensor provides. Typically 1hz is too slow for motorsports applications but this may provide usable data with no additional hardware required.
